I know what most of you are thinking right now. Yes, I do know that the word "DUTIEST" is not found in the dictionary, but since I could not find a word that could accurately describe myself, I decided to make-up my own word. The result? "Dutiest"!
Defined: By definition, a "DUTIEST" is one who does things out of a sense of duty or obligation. The motivation of a "DUTIEST" is to do certain things because of what others may require or expect from you.
So, in light of this definition, I am a recovering "DUTIEST". Everything that I do now as a Pastor. husband, father, and friend is now the result of joy rather than obligation or duty.
